I started watching Hockey in the 22-23 season and I chose the avs because they were my dad's favorite team when they moved to Denver, where he lived at the time. He was a fan for all 3 cup runs. I wasnt even alive for the first 2 lol, and wasnt a fan for the third. Since ive started watching, our playoff record has been 1 series win, 3 eliminations (you all can blame me for not going b2b in 2023.) This is the first time ive seen my favorite team, the team that got me into hockey, make it past the second round. Its the most well built version of this team I got to see live. Ive gone back and watched all 3 cup runs (or what I could find of them on YouTube) but this is the first one where im a fan as its happening, and oh my god is the excitement immeasurable.

TL:DR, best/deepest playoff run we've had since ive started watching and honestly its making me kinda emotional. I love this team.
