Old film question.

I found an ad (see below) for old itype film and want to know if it's worth buying. The listing is for 12 boxes of expired from from 2019 for $180. I think there's 8 photos per box. The boxes look like they're camo, note pad, and regulator, I think this is just the boarders.

Do you think $50 is fair to offer. I don't think $180 is justified, even if they're refrigerated.

The ad:

"Brand new 12 boxes of Polaroid iType film that has been kept in a cool place and refrigerated. Expired in 2019. This not for vintage cameras. ONLY FOR Polaroid i-Type cameras.

4 camo themed

4 note theme

4 normal white framed"

LAMY pen stopped working

I wrote some notes yesterday and everything was fine. I try to take some notes today and I had to use a lot of pressure to get the pen to work. After some searching I found a few possible solutions – adjust values in non-contact writing, press the nib against a hard surface to reset it, remove and cleaning the ceramic nib. I also restarted the Nomad a few times. The nomad responds to my touch, just not the pen.

After doing both the pen does not work anymore.

I'm on Version Chauvet 3.26.40 which seems to be the latest. Please help, I need this to work for my job!

I was showing my friend what I did to fix the pen and the ceramic is now stuck up in the body of the pen with the copper coil. There's no way to recover the ceramic. To save others from this DON'T FOLLOW THE ADVICE ON THE WEBSITE RIGHT AWAY, think before you push the ceramic nib in! Now I'm out $60.

How do I get my pictures to look like decaying film?

I am interested in buying a Polaroid to make album art. I specifically want to get low fidelity images. I was thinking Polaroid cameras would also be to manipulate the film as it's forming. Would the Polaroid Now+ be the best way to set myself up for success as I can pretreat the image using parameters set on my phone? Or should I get a Polaroid lab? Any other suggestions are welcome.

I'm looking to do something like this (picture screenshot from a user post)
