Funny but inappropriate

I had a new-to-me student who was rather distracted by his phone. Though he was a bit older, I decided to pull out Wrinkles, my Shar-pei puppy puppet to "teach" and get his attention. Most students like Wrinkles and smile more when he comes out, but this 10yo shouted "What the fuuuuuu**"!!!

I ignored it thinking i heard wrong, but then it happened a couple more times. (When I needed to pull his attention from the phone and brought out the puppet).

The third time, I told him its better to say "What the PUP" in class lol

Tips for an all-nighter?

After almost 3 months, I'm about 75% booked for slots I open. I really enjoy these classes, so I'd like to see them closer to 90%. Are all-nighters really worth it? Have you gotten new students from doing them? What if you're usually asleep by midnight? (How do you increase your wakefukness for these sessions?)

Bookings?

This is my third full month, with steadily increasing bookings, which is great. But today....nada. 1 or 2 cancellations this a. m., and NO bookings. Was it the 502 error this a.m., perhaps?

I don't understand why I'd go from 75% of slots booked to 0 so far for July. Trying not to panic.

With summer coming up do you all recommend switching to weekend (aka "all-nighter" here in the EST zone) classes? I've heard weekday bookings go down when school is out for summer. So, I'm trying to be proactive (though I'm not a much of a night owl)!
