Facing coding difficulties? Need some Advice!!

Hey guys!! I'm a finance professional transitioning to full-stack development by learning HTML, CSS, JS, Async, APIs, Node.js, Express.js, databases - PostgreSQL, React.js, TypeScript, Next.js, and finally Python and AI-related courses. Are my options correct? Feel free to advise.

And I'm currently learning CSS, where I feel like I understand the concepts when I watch the videos, but I feel like I don't truly understand them when I try to apply them. Is this normal for a beginner, or should I improve by doing something else?

B.Com to software engineering — is 6 months enough?

Hey everyone, I’m a Bcom graduate from 2023. I worked in 3 companies in finance/tax for 2 years, but over time I realised I really don’t want to continue in that field.

I also tried to go abroad for higher studies, but my visa didn’t work out. Because of that, I ended up with around a 6-month career gap.

I’ve now decided to switch completely into software engineering. I’m currently learning full-stack development through Scrimba and also using DataCamp for SQL/Python.

My question is, how realistic is it for someone with my background to get a software job within the next 6 months?

I’d really like to hear from people who have actually made a similar switch, especially from a non-CS or finance background. What helped you get your first job, and what did you wish you had focused on earlier?

Would appreciate any honest advice from developers or people who have gone through this themselves.
