I’ve always wondered about something.
In the Valhalla arc, when Baji “betrays” Toman (even though he was actually acting as a spy and never intended to truly join Valhalla), Chifuyu ends up at Valhalla’s hideout and gets beaten up by Baji so that Baji can prove he is genuinely committed to joining the gang.
What I wonder is: how did Chifuyu end up there in the first place? I don’t think Baji is the type of person who would set up an ambush for Chifuyu just to do something like that.
I had a theory that maybe another Valhalla member lured Chifuyu there to surprise Baji, something like: “Surprise! Beat him up, otherwise it means you’re not sincere about joining us.”
But that raises another question: how could a Valhalla member successfully lure Chifuyu there? Chifuyu isn’t stupid enough to fall for something obvious.
So, does anyone have any ideas?
I’ve been thinking about it, but I can’t come up with an explanation that completely makes sense.
Am I the only one who finds the relationship between Muto and Baji kind of weird?
I’m convinced that Muto either has something against Baji or simply doesn’t like him, and honestly, it makes me laugh a little because Baji doesn’t seem to care at all.
I’m saying this because, for example, in the Character Book, Muto’s profile states that he has trouble dealing with Baji and Kazutora. There’s also a chapter where we clearly see Muto telling Sanzu that Baji never listens to Mikey’s orders, always causes trouble, and that he doesn’t understand why Mikey keeps him around.
By the way, I wonder what Baji had done this time, because that scene takes place long before Takemichi joined Toman, back when Sanzu still had short hair and Muto didn’t shave his head yet.
But aside from that, am I the only one who noticed the huge side-eye Muto gives Baji in the scene where they’re all waiting to find out what happened to Draken? 😂
What do you think about the fact that Baji chose to die for Kazutora instead of living for Chifuyu?
It breaks my heart for Chifuyu, who would have done absolutely anything for Baji, but it feels like Baji always preferred Kazutora no matter what happened.
What do you think about the fact that Draken lives in a brothel? I’m really curious to hear everyone’s opinions on this.
Personally, I think it gave him a level of maturity at a very young age. We can see that when Draken invites Mitsuya to his home and one of the women gets angry at Mitsuya and tells him to leave. When Draken walks him home afterward, he tells him not to pay attention to it and explains that those women do that kind of work because they don’t really have a choice. That always struck me as a very mature perspective for someone his age.
But aside from that, I also wonder what Emma thinks about it. Do you have any ideas?
I feel like it can’t be easy knowing that the boy you love lives surrounded by prostitutes. Emma probably has no idea what he might or might not do with them.
There’s also another question that’s been on my mind: do you think Draken might have done something with one of the women once he got older?
At first, I would have said no. But when I think about it more, I wonder if staying a virgin until a certain age might feel embarrassing for some people. We see this with future Takemichi, who talks about still being a virgin as if it’s something shameful. There’s also that scene when Draken was still in elementary school and one of the women jokingly offers him a handjob before school. Because of things like that, I sometimes wonder if he might have tried something with one of them out of curiosity at some point.
Honestly, if that were the case, I think I’d feel a little sad for Emma.

In this scene, we see Muto sitting behind Mikey while injured, and if I understood correctly, this was just before he joined Toman. However, no real details were given about it.
Why is Muto injured? Did he fight against Mikey? How did he end up joining Toman?
Basically, Muto tells Mikey that he considers him an absolute king, and then Mikey tells him that he will always need him.
I didn’t really understand the meaning of this scene. Could someone explain it to me?
