Do you regret choosing to study accounting and would you recommend it?

So I’m going to university in September to study a healthcare degree but I’ve been having some doubts as many who work the career say it pays poor, it’s becoming very oversaturated and it’s not worth it anymore so I’ve been considering accounting as a backup. My main reasons for considering accounting is that I do like working with numbers, it’s a very stable career, it’s not very oversaturated, has good career progression, and it pays well. From my perspective it seems like a pretty good career. So my question is, is it worth it? Is it an enjoyable career or is it incredibly boring? Would you go back and pick it again if you had the choice? Is it very stressful?

Advice for a chess newbie (elo under 500)

So I’ve been playing chess on and off for a couple of years now but I never really tried to learn any tactics, I wouldn’t develop any pieces or watch chess videos to try to learn, I’d literally just go off vibes. Now that I’m actually making an effort what advice would you give to someone at my level. Is there a checklist of things I should probably try to learn, for example, chess openings, different patterns to spot. Just any advice that you think would be super useful. I’ve already been watching quite of a lot videos, specifically ones from Gotham chess to try to learn but Im not really aware of other things I need to do to boost my elo

Should I sync all my apps, photos, notes etc to my iPad?

I got an iPad for the first time recently and as I’m setting it up it’s asking whether I want to sync my iPhone data to my iPad. Have any of you don’t this and regret it? or not done it and regret it? I’m not really sure which would be better. Would my old photos not take up a lot of storage?

Chess.com account keeps getting hacked?

So had a chess.com account for a good few years but then randomly last year I got an email saying that there was a suspicious log in into my account in a city quite far from mine. Then, about 3 minutes later I got another from a different city (this one was London). I ended up just deleting my account because I didn’t want to risk them getting a hold of my email. I made a new account shortly after, pretty much the same username. I made sure my password was very strong this time. I played on this account for a few months, had no issues, took a break and started playing again. Then, the EXACT same thing happened again. I got an email for suspicious log in from the exact same city the first time and then a few mins later, a suspicious log in from London- the exact same order that the first happened in. Is this a mistake or is my account being targeted.

Can I add my bank account details after the student finance deadline? (I’m in year 13)

So I’ve applied for student finance, my application has been approved but now they want my bank account details. Long story short I don’t have a bank account, only a trust fund. The deadline for student finance is May 15th. I’ve tried to apply for a bank account online but there’s been issues which means I’ll have to go in person and I’m just not sure if I’ll meet the deadline, I might be a few days late. Does it really matter? I’m not taking out a maintenance loan.

So I’ve already applied to student finance and it says they’ve accepted my application but now I need to put in bank details. For context I’m not taking a maintenance loan so I’m not sure why they need that info. Anyways, I dont have a bank account, only a trust fund, and I can’t make a student or adult bank account until I’m 18, which I’m not. Now, I COULD make a child’s account and give those details, but I’m literally turning 18 in late May so I feel like it would make more sense to wait until I’m 18 and make a student bank account but this is a few weeks after the deadline. What do I do?
