Planning to book a flight from Chengdu to Singapore for around 1 nov with a group of friends..but when I search, I can only find Sichuan Airlines and Air China for direct flights. Btw not looking for a connecting flight cause they take SO LONG. Looks like there are no other airlines operating that route on that date?

Is this normal? Would have expected more options.

Do airlines usually release their scheduled tickets later, so I should wait a bit? Or should I just book now?
