Jack and Jaws
Didn’t Jack talk about having his kids watch Jaws and realizing that maybe they were too young for it, even though that’s how old he was when he watched it?
From Tastes Like Candy by Jessica Lacy, a slasher story recommended by Stephen Graham Jones. As far as I can tell, the traumatized kid is not the slasher, but I’ve only just started the book.
