I’m a foreign tourist and I will be staying at Vancouver for some days, I have heard trout fishing is very popular in BC, so are there any beginner-friendly trout fishing spots？
I’ll be bringing an 8 ft medium-power spinning rod and a 9 ft 5-weight fly rod, hopefully they will be suitable for fishing here.
And should I use barbless hooks all the time while fishing in BC, both in freshwater and saltwater? The fishing regulations are very different from those in my country, so I’m worried I might accidentally break the rules.
