So many fish in Nanaimo!

Fishing at Rocky Point 1 Park, Nanaimo, Vancouver Island. OMG there are so many fish!!! I got 6 in 3 hours! They are called the Copper Rockfish? Every time I throw my lure into the water will get at least one bite!!! What a fishing paradise! Some people beside me got a huge Chinook Salmon!!! But it ran off before they pull it on the land! I also got one but it leave too…

Guys I finally got a fish!

I finally got this salmon baby at Capilano River under the highway bridge! Yeah! It’s my first fish in Vancouver! Is it a Coho salmon?

Hey guys, are there any good fishing spots in Vancouver?

I’m a foreign tourist and I will be staying at Vancouver for some days, I have heard trout fishing is very popular in BC, so are there any beginner-friendly trout fishing spots?

I’ll be bringing an 8 ft medium-power spinning rod and a 9 ft 5-weight fly rod, hopefully they will be suitable for fishing here.

And should I use barbless hooks all the time while fishing in BC, both in freshwater and saltwater? The fishing regulations are very different from those in my country, so I’m worried I might accidentally break the rules.

Thanks for your answer! Here are some fish I’ve caught before.
