For Self-Published Authors That Succeeded on KDP...

What did you guys do, and what tools did you use to be able to advertise your book. And what advice would you say to someone that doesn't have the funds, but has the ability to write a book and just post on KDP? Who did you connect with to tell you strengths and weaknesses in your book?

Willing To Collaborate

So, I'm a pretty young author (18 years), but an aspiring one. But I know that success doesn't come alone, and sometimes you need someone to give advice, edit, or work with you on that same story. The sheer thought of discussing a plot with somebody is exciting, but I wouldn't know how to.

First of all, I've already published two stories on Amazon (no advertising or anything, just kind of to see what happens), and is working on a third book of that same series, and I doubt that any author will suddenly want to jump into a story with that much lore that's already happened. That's why if you wanted to start a completely different series, I wouldn't be against it.

But, I want someone to work with. I find myself busy a lot of times and feel alone and stagnant, but if I could work with someone who loves writing as much as me and wants to make a world together, that would be awesome.
