Today in Saidapet, we had an unscheduled power cut from 11 AM to 5:30 PM. We raised complaints multiple times through customer care, but the complaints were closed twice without anyone attending by section.

Customer care said we need to complain in person, while the local EB line said it was due to metro-related work/digging. There was no prior information or proper timeline given.

How do you all deal with such long power cuts in Chennai? Is there any proper way to escalate complaints and get faster action instead of complaints being closed without resolution?

Seen similar posts here recently, so wanted to know if other areas are also facing this.
