Help with dirty trousers
Bear is a large 4yo indoor kitty. He gets occasional knots under his arms but regular brushing prevents them. He's used to the brush, he even turns to get all his sides done!
However.. we still can't get near his fluffy trousers. And when he occasionally eats something that disagrees with him, he gets poop in his fur which he then sits in, and it becomes wrapped in balls of fur. He can be wiped and brushed to an extent; but trimming or clipping is out of the question while he is still comscious! He is not called Bear for nothing.
How do you deal with this? A vet trip seems extreme. But restraint isnt a good experience for a cat who is at least as intelligent as a small dog.
Water will make things worse, he hates the noise of clippers. I can untangle his easy to reach danglers but his trousers invite murder.
Any suggestions?
