Security Clearance Reciprocity - DoD to DHS

Hello,

I was granted favorable TS/SCI determination by DCSA last month. It is with the Navy.

I will be going through clearance process with the Coast Guard which is part of DHS. They require Secret clearance.

Can Coast Guard use my current TS/SCI from DCSA for me to start working right away?

RSI Investigation - Financials

Hello,

I have done search here before about RSI but it was limited info from couple years ago.

My RSI investigation (focusing merely on charge off accounts and taxes) was closed 12 days ago. I provided payments/settlements proof after the first meeting with the investigator.

There was a second short clarification meeting with the investigator but there was no question about any of this payment mitigation proof so I am assuming that it was accepted by the reviewer/adjudicator.

DISS is showing "Adjudication in progress". I was told that RSI cases are adjudicated faster since they are just focused interviews. Is that true?

Also, will I be enrolled into CE again once RSI is adjudicated favorably?

I had my follow up/clarification meeting with the investigator today. I sent almost 500 hundred pages of financial mitigation documents showing my efforts for payments, settlements, etc for over a year for the charge off/collection accounts from COVID and also installment agreements for both state and federal taxes after our first meeting.

During Covid, I also had investment deposits to my stock trading account which was excessive. It was a poor financial judgment on my end. It was stupid thing to do and I mentioned to the investigator that I took full responsibility for it. There were non-sufficient fees back then as well because of this mismanagement.

During that time, I also lost my father and my mother was in the ICU and I took care of their medical expenses. Still, I should have thought better with my own money back then.

Today, investigator only focused on this investment deposits since I openly submitted my bank statements during that time after the first meeting. No mention about any of my mitigating documents for Guidelines F. May I ask what you think might be going on?

By the way, when I asked why there was this second interview today, investigator said "adjudicator wants some clarification...."

Hello Investigators,

Here is my quick timeline:

April 10, 2026: The interview with the DCSA investigator. The interview was only about Guidelines F (Financial).

April 14, 2026: I submitted all of the mitigating financial docs that were requested by the investigator during the interview.

April 27, 2026: I reached out to the investigator for the status and her response was: "I have transmitted your case so at this moment it is out of my hands and I don’t have current status."

April 29, 2026 (today): Investigator emailed me out of nowhere and said: "Do you have some time to jump on Teams with me tomorrow? I have a couple quick follow up questions."

In my humble opinion, adjudicator already has started reviewing my case and wants some clarification since she told me she already submitted everything to the adjudicator.

I would appreciate investigators' feedback as well.

Hello Investigators,

I completed my interview with DCSA investigator. I was requested a bunch of mitigating documents by the investigator which I submitted all of them. Investigator told me she submitted my case to the adjudicator last week.

I submitted 9 financial mitigation exhibits per her request. One of the exhibits was my 3-page written detailed statement/declaration pretty much summarizing my good-faith efforts to resolve charge-off accounts, settlements, payments, circumstances for the debt. This was much more detailed than our verbal communication during the interview.

My question is.....

Did the investigator cite my written statement/declaration details in her report as well?

Did the investigator attach all of my mitigation exhibits to her report as well?
