I'm looking to reduce how much I pay for rent, however it seems like there is nothing decent within the budget I'm looking at (max $1300, before fees and stuff). Anything I find has multiple reviews about roaches/bugs, mold, etc.

I suppose this is my last hail mary to see if anyone has suggestions or good personal experiences with wallet friendly places? 🫠 I literally just want somewhere that's not full of bugs, lol.

I work hybrid, but only go into the office 2x a month. I don't have a car currently, so I'd be commuting via rideshare or public transport. My office is in Tempe, so I'd like to stay in the East Valley, and not go too far north.
