We want to update our ground floor and so far we’re planning to knock through the kitchen and dining room and add bifold or French doors to the lounge and dining room (we don’t want it fully open plan). Now we’re wondering if we should also block off the existing kitchen door to create a more intentional(?) hallway. We’d like to have a breakfast bar where the current kitchen/dining wall is. Anyone done similar and have any opinions? Thanks!
