My husband and I saw a really excellent production of Hairspray tonight at the Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aires. Costuming was great, dancing was tight, and vocals outstanding. But during act I, the woman next to me proceeds to have a very odiferous tuna sandwich as a snack. The smell was amazingly strong.

Thing is, I totally understand people with dietary needs. It was a 6pm show, and maybe she needed a solid protein infusion before it got too late. It struck me as an odd choice, though it was a very quiet snack - no wrapper or crinkling. Just the smell!
