(Non-musical question) How to reduce subwoofer bass
Probably the wrong sub for this but I just moved into a new house, and my next door neighbor has been complaining that he can hear when we watch movies at night. Our houses are not connected and there’s about 20ft of space between the outer walls. I went outside to test with a loud song playing, and while standing at the property line, yeah you could kinda hear it but not great. I want to be a nice neighbor however and was wondering what I can do to reduce the bass by maybe how it’s positioned physically. The digital audio settings seem to not allow for much room to play without equalization, otherwise I’d just fix it there.
In the pic, you can see the sub on the left which I sat on top of a towel with no luck. Maybe how it’s angled from the wall corner? Or getting it farther off the ground?
