When Bruce announced his retirement he said that he'd be at the Hollywood Bowl shows: "I am excited to join the Beach Boys for performances on special occasions and will see everyone at The Hollywood Bowl as we celebrate our Nation’s 250th Birthday!!"

He wasn't at the July 2 or 3 shows and apparently he won't be at tonight's show either. Mike just posted this group picture on his Facebook page minutes ago. Unless Bruce couldn't be at these shows for health reasons, this is a deceptive way to sell tickets. I have not seen anything posted about Bruce's absence.

Just days before Bruce's announcement last winter, ticket sales opened for a large number of shows this summer, and I bought tickets for 3 shows, partly because I always enjoy Bruce. Suddenly, four days later Bruce is retiring. I doubt that he made a snap decision.....

Yesterday, I was searching in Google Shopping for Vanilla Buttermint gel hand soap which is no longer available from Bath & Body Works. I expected to see lots of ads for items on Ebay which I did. I was dumb enough to fall for this too-good-to-be-true site: THYME NATURAL MARKET in Kew Gardens, NY.

DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER! Luckily I'm not out any money even though I placed an order. After not having received an email confirmation by last night, I froze my credit card but this morning my husband received a call and email from his credit card company about 3 fraudulent attempts to use his card. (This was NOT the card that I used). In addition, one of my other credit cards had a $1.00 pre-authorization for a "Google" order that was not placed by me. I had received an email that said I had added that card to Samsung Pay, which I don't use. I have frozen my credit reports in case these scammers decide to wreak more havoc.
