How do I stop overthinking when someone leaves me on seen?

I've been struggling a lot with overthinking, especially when a friend leaves me on seen or doesn't reply for hours/days.

My brain immediately starts creating scenarios like:

"Did I do something wrong?"

"Are they upset with me?"

"Do they not care about me anymore?"

"Should I text again or give them space?"

"What if this is the beginning of them leaving me?"

I know people have their own lives and being left on seen doesn't automatically mean anything, but emotionally I find it really difficult not to think about it.

I end up checking the chat repeatedly, rereading messages, and analyzing what I might have done wrong.

Has anyone actually managed to overcome this kind of seenzone anxiety/overthinking?

What daily habits or techniques helped you stop checking and worrying about replies so much?

I want to learn how to care about people without needing an immediate reply to feel okay. Any advice would genuinely help. 🙏
