DCT Paddle Issue - Left paddle upshifts?

I've had my F80 for a while now, but only in the last few months have I noticed an intermittent issue where the left paddle(typically the downshift paddle) begins to upshift. The right paddle remains as it should so both paddles shift up, though shifting via the gear selector still works as intended.

It's something that fixes itself, either during the drive or after restarting the car.

I'm sure it has something to do with the various tunes/flashes on it; BM3 Stage 1 and GTS trans flash, coding for anti-dazzle, CS suspension, and comfort access, and Bimmercode having turned most of the chimes off. That said, car has been tuned since I got it and the issue has only recently begun. It also does not appear to be affected by a reflash of a tune or setting the trans tune back to standard.

Anyone else encountered this issue or have any insight as to what may be the cause/solution?

New batch V7F Ingeniuer in Green/F1 and Aqua

Received these Sunday evening, so I've had some time wearing each after getting them sized appropriately and a couple pictures in the sun.

Initial takeaways, with no OG V7 for comparisons sake;

  • crystal is excellent and among the best of my reps, especially noticable in the full sun pics.

  • bracelet and clasp feel more solid than I expected based on others' comments.

  • I really like the aqua color, but expected a more metallic finish. It's fairly matte, but does show color variation depending on light source.

  • Sizing was pretty easy, though one of the links appears to have broken on removal as the button on it did not spring back up. Turns out they'll come back up if you just mess with them a bit, so all links are functioning now.

  • I think 8" may be the max wrist size these bracelets will accommodate and that may be pushing it. I'm at about 7 3/4" and it's a hair snug with one small link removed.

I began just removing one link from each which gave me a good, but a hair snug fit. I've kind of frankened my bracelet sizes since I've two watches to play with. The Aqua has an additional small link removed and replaced by a third large link, while the green got two small links added to replace the large. This has made both watches a much more comfortable wear, but I can't decide which size I prefer.

This is the first shipment I've had by 4px and GOFO. Gotta say I'm pretty impressed with how quickly they managed to get them to my door, 7 days from tracking to delivery. Only FedEx direct shipping out of Hong Kong has been faster.

Royal Oak 1.5 Link by Nomods

I'm sure many of you ran into the same problem with your Royal Oak(and other butterfly clasp watches with uniform link sizes and no microadjustment); it's either just a bit too snug or way too loose, and thus it doesn't get as much wrist time as you'd like.

Found this one and a half link from Nomods and figured the $25 shipped to me was worthwhile if I got more wear from my watch. By the way, if you opt to look at one of these, ignore the initial shipping quote on the product page, add it to your cart and go to checkout to see the real shipping number. It will say something around $60 for shipping, but one in cart it was only $10 to the US. It shipped from China, so I imagine pricing would be similar regardless of the destination.

It certainly fits my ZF 15510 easily enough, but there's a clear difference in thickness and finishing compared to even the rep bracelet. I can't imagine a gen owner ever entertaining adding this to their watch, but I suppose that's not what it's for. It comes with a full length screw as opposed to the screw and pin that my TOP and ZF have, no fitment issues there. I suppose it would fit perfectly on a 15500 bracelet?

I'm satisfied enough with it. It makes the watch fit exactly how I want it to, and putting it where it falls on the clasp makes it where you feel no differece on wrist. I may move it to the noon side of the bracelet to see if that hides it even more. I doubt anyone would ever notice as they're never looking at the underside of the watch, and I'm sure I'll forget about it after a couple wears and just simply enjoy my watch.

EDIT: I swapped it to the noon side, it's an afterthought then. Would recommend doing that if you opt to get one.

V7F IWC Ingeniuer F1/Green Dial QC pics(Aqua as well)

Album link - https://imgur.com/a/Rd2hxF0

Album with vids and timegrapher numbers - https://imgur.com/a/pnhEdMH

Not a QC post, just here for visibility. Both watches look pretty solid.

The Aqua's movement is waaaaaaay out of regulation, so there's a provential GL there provided the movement can be properly regulated.

I RL the F1/Green dial. The bezel alignment is just a hair too far out for me to overlook, especially given how fond I am of this watch. One thing to note, the caseback is still individually numbered, thought I've not looked through other QC albums to see if they all have the same number of if they actually rotate them.

Both from Hont, ordered both 5/18 and received QC pics this morning, 5/26.

Turns out Free Factory = MZF for new Ingeniuer reps - Green Dial pics inside

So I ordered a free factory green dial based on the post from a couple days ago here. QC pics come through and the stickers say MZ. I question the dealer who says it's the same factory, which is the same conclusion folks at RWI came to.

These are the pics and video my dealer sent me - https://imgur.com/a/OND1tT7.

Really tough to tell if the dial and bezel are properly aligned, but it certainly looks closer than other MZ QC pics I've seen. The crystal also looks like a cloudy mess in the video, but not in pics. Dealer says it's his lighting that contributes to that.

Obligatory not a QC despite posting pics from a QC.
