Hey all, has anyone here gotten top surgery at least in part due to nerve pain? I had a VATS a few years ago and have been dealing with nerve pain along my ribs ever since.

I have a very large chest, and so a bra feels pretty mandatory if I want to go out in public. But my bra strap puts pressure on my ribcage, right where the nerve damage is, and causes a lot of pain. I'm often making a decision between being in pain and engaging in a social life.

I think my life would really improve if I just didn't have any breasts, and so didn't need to wear a bra. Has anyone here had a VATS and/or nerve pain on your chest? Did top surgery improve the situation?
