I had to do it but still feeling insecure

So, here I am, 28 y.o. and already bald. The 1st pic is me in my early 20s, 2nd pic is me before going bald, and the 3rd and 4th are the result. I've been single for 9 years already, and ppl in the malegrooming reddit community all told me I should go bald. Still feel that I don't look good somehow, and it seems like my stubble grows pretty miserably.

28m am I just naturally unattractive or is it a matter of style?

Have been single for 8 years already, a bunch of refusals, and here I am, fighting with depression. I've never considered myself to be handsome, but ever since the hormonal tweaks, I started balding and gaining some unnecessary weight. Sometimes I wonder if I'm doomed to be the unattractive guy or if I'm just missing something. I will really appreciate any advice.

P.S.: I have a pierced ear and don't plan to change this part any time soon. Any other suggestions are very welcome, e.g. going bald, growing facial hair etc.
