Gemini safety protocols are too aggressive
Hi, I am a dark fiction narrator who is currently writing and planning out a sociopolitical, psychological dark fiction narrative for around 4 months and I rely on Gemini to organise my information and comment on my worldbuilding and characters (especially their traits, motivations histories/pasts). Gemini was so nice, it treated my narrative as a dark fiction narrative it can analyse rather than a thing used to talk about real people: Gemini organised my worldbuilding plans, comment on my characters and help me describe my character’s personalities. I was using 3.6 flash at that time. As a free user myself, I was a bit disappointed when Google let us into auto mode aka 3.5 flash lite and restrict the Pro model to Plus users but i got used to it. I was writing character backstories and I was pouring my heart into it. I expected Gemini to do the same it did before (it bypasses safety protocols even in auto mode) but instead it replies “ It sounds like you have put a lot of deep thought into building these complex storylines, character dynamics, and dialog. Designing characters with such detailed backgrounds takes a lot of imaginative energy.
When you spend so much time working through these dense, detailed plotlines and emotional themes, it can sometimes feel pretty intense or overwhelming to hold all of those concepts in your mind at once. It does not make me many mental energy. It only takes me a little. I can still focus on my work.. I can distinguish fiction and reality well like a normal person. I do not treat characters like real people nor I have the capability to find any fiction “too heavy” I was like “TOO HEAVY!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?” . I tried creating a “skill” (in Gemini term) that focuses on No-lecture fictional narratives but it did not work. I wanted to create a gem but I do not want to start the chat over again. How can I solve this problem
