Noticed the one strong leaf on my cutting is crinkling up.

I haven’t watered it since potting it.

I live in Hawaii for context.

Any advice is appreciated.

Howdy yall. My mom gifted me this plumeria cutting she got in Hawaii, you know those ones sold in every ABC shop.

Well I did my best to research what soil and mixed it with perlite & cactus soil (1:1). I watered it only once when I planted it and that was it.

I am soo so excited to see signs of life after a few weeks and noticed some leaves unfurling.

I am wondering what’s the next step?? I see some say let them grow out and when it has 3 strong leaves, then water it for the second time.

Others say cut them so plant may focus on root growth, and continue not to water.

I am not sure what to do in my case. Any advice is appreciated.
