A Rogers salesman is going around in Ross Glen right now. He is PUSHY.

I would be very aware: he asked me several times to open my carrier's app so he could view the bill to compare prices. I flatout refused because this is a significant privacy issue. There's no way I'm giving a stranger direct access to any personal or financial details. I would advise everyone else who encounters him to do the same.

What started off as a nice chat turned into having to tell him directly numerous times that I'm not interested. I was not rude in the least since I also work sales, but he left in a huff like he was personally hurt.

Fairly certain he was plainly lying about the offers for the services he was selling. Nothing but grease here.

I'm rather new to Linux, and have been using Silverblue for a few months now with great success. I am wondering if it's possible to install xone (or one of its forks) to get my Xbox Elite 2 controller working with the official dongle. Common guides require DKMS, which appears to be incompatible with atomic distros.This ublue repo includes an akmod version of xone: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/ublue-os/akmods/packages/

I added the repo and did a dry run (-n) to see what would happen. The output is below. It seems like a ton of stuff will be installed and it's going to uninstall Firefox?? What's the best way to make my controller work?

I'm getting close to what I feel is a fantastic desktop experience, but I really miss macOS dock stacks. Is there an extension that will replicate this with both list and grid views?

I have one of the affected drives, but haven't had an issue yet. I can’t seem to find a definitive answer, but is the failure related to the SSD itself or due to the USB controller? I’m wondering if shucking the drive removes the risk. Either way, I’ll probably still use it but just for trivial purposes.

Sorry, I can’t seem to find a straightforward answer to this. Happily testing Kinoite and want to backup the entire system, very similar to macOS’ Time Machine. I’m just really interested in backing up the OS and app configurations along with my personal files.

btrfs-assistant with Snapper seems to be a popular solution, but I’m unsure of the best method to install since it doesn’t appear on Flathub or in Discover. Does it need to be layered? Does it even function with an immutable OS?
