Can somebody help me understand the final scenes?

So... I just rewatched the movie and was wondering who is the Kaguya we see at the end of the movie. Like, is she just Yachiyo with a physical body? If so, then why did she behave exactly as her "younger" self we saw at the beginning of the movie? Besides, do you guys think it is a good, happy ending? I would like to believe so, as Kaguya and Iroha were finally able to be together, but Kaguya/Yachiyo had to suffer for 8000 years before meeting Iroha again. I just want your opinions and how you interpreted the movie.

I loved everything about the movie, but I have to admit that some parts were too confusing for my poor little brain. Fortunately, that didn't stop me from enjoying this masterpiece.

One of the best movies I've ever watched?

Maybe I'm heavily blinded by the recency bias (I literally just watched the movie), but this is easily one of my favorites movies ever. My jaw was open for a solid 10 minutes after the plot twist, and I loved the characters, especially Iroha. It was awesome watching how the careless and joyful Kaguya was slowly helping Iroha improve and find a direction in her life. The plot, the music, everything was amazing. I also really like the hints they give you before the major reveal. They are subtle but makes you connect everything at the end.

Ngl, I'm just writing this post because I need to comment this somewhere. I had stopped watching anime for like 2 years, and this movie kind of reignited my passion. Incredible movie 100/10.
