13 days PO and still feel pulling when fully upright

13 days PO and still feel pulling when fully upright

13 days PO, & when I stand fully upright, there is pulling on the incision. It “feels” like I’m standing upright; but when I look in the mirror I notice I’m still hunched. Will this ever ease up? (also my Low back is also VERY swollen from lipo 360.)

Will this go away? 11 days PO

I have hip dips, had pretty big love handles to begin with, and I know there’s some swelling. I’m also only 11 days PO. But I’m trying to wrap my head around my results. Will this even out, or will I likely need to let my surgeon know that this ought to be smoothed out eventually?

5 days post op tummy tuck & lipo 360

40 years old, 2 pregnancies behind me…I’m 5 days post op tt w/ diastasis recti repair, lipo 360, & very conservative lipo to inner thighs. I have 1 drain on my hip.

My surgeon said 1 liter of fat was removed from each flank, and 3 lbs of skin/fat removed from my belly. Also not pictured, 1/3 cup removed from inner thighs.

I’ve always carried weight in my tummy, since childhood. This is wild to see my body like this. I’m excited to see things once brushing has gone down, and I can actually stand upright! So far I’m feeling good with the results. The pooch in the sides isn’t great, but it might go down, and I think without something there I risk looking like a box.

Recovery is tough, but not too terrible. I had a breast reduction in 2018 & then a revision surgery after that in 2019, so I felt prepared-ish.

I’m struggling w nausea any time I feel hungry, & right after I eat, which is not something I expected. I hope that’s stops soon!

I think I’ll be standing upright in a few more days. Dr put me on gabapentin, juvarnax, muscle relaxer, Advil 600 & Tylenol. I stopped all but the Advil & Tylenol today in hopes it would help the nausea, but no luck so far. Bc of that I am feeling more achy, but it’s not unbearable. No shooting pains or anything… yet anyway!
