"Coasting" feature on my 2022 GV80 doesn't seem to do anything...

So, in the Settings, there is an option to select "Coasting", and the information box that comes on the screen states that the engine will be disconnected from the transmission while driving in ECO mode.

However, I tried it out yesterday and I see no difference in the behavior of the engine/transmission between ECO and Comfort modes. When I let off the gas in ECO mode, the rpm's do not drop at all from where they were before letting off the gas. And you can see the rpm's increase each time the transmission downshifts as the car slows down. This clearly means that the engine is still connected to the transmission.

Has anyone else used the "Coasting" feature and what happens when you do? Thanks much.

Confused as to how the Palisade Hybrid drivetrain works in the real world

The reason for my confusion is that, when you look at the specs of the hybrid model, it seems to indicate that the electric motors operate from 1,000 to 3,000 rpm. What happens above 3,000 rpm? I see that the four cylinder ICE in the hybrid model tops out at around 258 hp. Does this mean that, for example, when passing on the highway, you will get only 258 hp with the hybrid model? Or, am I missing something? I see that the V6 engine generates 287 hp at 6,400 rpm. Which model will actually have better performance once you are at speed on the highway? Thanks much for any info or actual experience with both models.
