So my buddy lost his tortoise today (he let's it out to feel grass and sun). It was in the area of Victorian Plaza Circle and Prater in Sparks. He's around 30 years old and his name is Bowser.

I found this thing in my kitchen this morning, scurrying across the floor. Someone please tell me this is not a well-fed tick! I have 3 cats, so it could've come from one of them, but I've lived in Reno, nv my whole life and have never seen a tick.
