I already booked with Doctor Pornthep Mamanee at Bangkok Hospital and Doctor Bancha Chernchujit at Bumrungrad Hospital.

Is there any better surgeon options for me in Bangkok If my goal is preserving the meniscus and practicing sports again?

I used to be a very active weightlifter and I am really suffering because of my injury

I’ve developed a medial meniscus horizontal tear in the posterior horn after a bycicle accident two years ago.

I am 29 years old so I know I can get a succesful meniscus repair but might need a menisesctoctomy instead since its in the red white area.

I have read about Dr. Pornthep Mamanee in Bangkok, Thailand to be one of the best options out there, Dr. Jiwu Chen in Shanghai and looking for a doctor at Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital rather than doing it in Vietnam, where I am now.

I would like to please hear about your experiences and costs in Asia. I need succesful stories only since I want to invest in the right doctor since I have no insurance and I will borrow the money since I can’t afford it myself.

I don’t mind too much the language barrier in China since I can speak basic mandarin.
