Capital One MLB tickets are back for June & July 2026. 5K miles or $40 per seat for premium field-level spots

The new dates just went live, and these go fast.

If you have a Venture or Savor card, you can grab premium field-level seats through the Capital One Entertainment portal for 5,000 miles or $40 cash back. Seats that would run you $150-300+ on StubHub. The math is really good, basically up to 6 cents per mile.

One thing that's new this year: they're now accepting Venture/Venture X miles, not just cash back. That just changed last week on May 15, 2026.

Step-by-Step guide:

  1. Go to the Capital One Entertainment portal and log in
  2. Select the MLB Single Game Tickets section and search by team/date
  3. Look for the "Cardholder Exclusive by Capital One" tag; these are the ~4 prime infield/dugout seats reserved per game at 5k miles each. This is what you want
  4. Add to cart (usually sold in pairs) and checkout with miles, cash, or a mix

Heads up before you go looking:

Once those exclusives are gone, the portal still shows tickets, but those are Vivid Seats inventory at full price, and you're only getting about 0.8 cents per mile. Total trap. Don't book those.

Also, max 3 games per account per day. They will cancel the extras.

Smaller markets (KC, Cleveland, Tampa) have way better availability than NY/LA/Boston if you have flexibility.

Tickets are non-refundable, and resale is restricted, so don't book games you're not sure about.

Anyone grabbed seats yet this season? Curious if the bigger markets are already wiped.

Promo code infoseekaius gives you 2 ChatGPT Business seats for the price of 1. Stack with Amex $300 credit for basically free

UPDATE: DEAD NOW 😭

Saw this floating around and wanted to share. Promo code infoseekaius gets you 2 ChatGPT Business seats for the price of 1, valid for 48 months. Keep in mind that it only works on monthly plans (not annual).

Here's where we think it gets more interesting: Amex recently added a $300/year statement credit for ChatGPT Business on both the Business Platinum and Business Gold. At $25/user/month, two seats run $50/month. The $300 credit wipes out 6 months entirely. And with the promo code cutting that in half, you're looking at paying close to nothing for a good stretch.

Details:

  • Enrollment in the Amex benefit is required before purchase
  • ChatGPT Business has a 2-user minimum, so this promo is well-timed
  • Some people are reporting eligibility errors. It seems to work best on new/clean accounts, but if you're getting an error, take a screenshot and reach out to ChatGPT support for a resolution

More details on how the Amex credit works and how to maximize it on our blog: https://www.joinkudos.com/blog/amex-300-chatgpt-business-credit-how-it-works

Hyatt is making award redemptions more $$$ across the board starting May 20, 2026 😭

Advertising disclosure: Kudos has partnered with Red Ventures for our coverage of credit card products. Kudos and Red Ventures may receive a commission from card issuers. Kudos may receive commission from card issuers. Some of the card offers that appear on Kudos are from advertisers and may impact how and where card products appear on the site. Kudos tries to include as many card companies and offers as we are aware of, including offers from issuers that don't pay us, but we may not cover all card companies or all available card offers. You don't have to use our links, but we're grateful when you do!

Hyatt is making award redemptions more expensive starting May 20, 2026. Whether you're a longtime World of Hyatt loyalist or a Chase UR collector who occasionally transfers points for a splurge stay, this is a change worth understanding before the deadline hits.

What's Changing on May 20, 2026?

Here's a breakdown of the three biggest changes:

1. The Price Ceiling Is Going Up

The maximum number of points you might pay for a single night is increasing dramatically. Depending on the category, the new ceiling can be up to 67% higher than what's currently possible. A hotel that previously maxed out at, say, 30,000 points per night could now peak at 50,000+ points for the same stay but just during peak demand periods.

2. Mid-Tier Hotels Are Getting More $$$ Too

It's not just the top-end prices climbing. The new "moderate" pricing tier will generally cost more than what you pay today under the current "standard" award rate. In other words, even your "normal" Hyatt redemption is becoming pricier.

3. 112 Hotels Are Moving Up in Category

Beyond the rate changes, Hyatt is recategorizing 112 properties into higher award tiers. If a hotel you love is on that list, you're looking at a permanent increase in the points required to book it, regardless of timing.

This award chart restructuring is essentially Hyatt building a dynamic pricing capability. The new structure creates a wider range between the floor and ceiling of what a property can charge in points, which means Hyatt can price popular hotels higher during peak travel windows (summer, holidays, major events) without technically "changing" the chart again.

It's the same dynamic pricing that airlines have run with miles programs for years, now arriving at one of the last major hotel programs that had held onto a more predictable, fixed-chart model.

What you have control over now / what you should do in the next 5 days

Any booking made before May 20, 2026, will be priced at today's award chart rates, even if the stay itself is far in the future. If you have a Hyatt stay on your radar for later this year or even 2027, booking it now locks in current pricing. Cancellation policies vary by property, but many Hyatt hotels allow free cancellation up to 24–72 hours before arrival, meaning there's relatively low risk in booking speculatively.

A few action steps:

Search award availability now for any Hyatt properties on your list, especially those in higher categories or popular destinations

Prioritize high-category hotels. The more expensive the property, the more you stand to save by booking before the deadline

Check if your favorite hotels are among the 112 being recategorized and book if so!

Chase Ultimate Rewards holders: your points transfer to World of Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio. If you've been sitting on UR points thinking about a Hyatt redemption, now is the time to move on it.

If you're wondering whether it's worth rushing, remember that points are only valuable when you redeem them at a good rate. Locking in a high-value redemption before the devaluation is exactly what you should do. This is a significant enough change that acting fast is genuinely worth it.

Amex added a $300 ChatGPT Business credit to the Business Platinum and Business Gold

Worth knowing if you're already paying for AI tools.

https://preview.redd.it/gw66ftd6k01h1.png?width=1465&format=png&auto=webp&s=669a3fe609e278922707963e2e6e696538738ae8

American Express added a new up to $300 annual statement credit for ChatGPT Business to the American Express® Business Gold Card and Business Platinum Card® from American Express. First time we've seen a credit card with a dedicated ChatGPT benefit, but probably just the start of a lot more AI perks coming to premium cards...wondering if they'll go into personal ones too, or stick to biz cards.

A few things to know:

  • Enrollment is required through your Amex portal before you buy - here's the link
  • Up to $300/year, and it resets every calendar year (not cardholder anniversary year)
  • Works on both monthly and annual plans
  • There's a min of 2 users required, so it won't fully cover the cost

The annual plan for 2 seats runs ~$480/year, so after the $300 credit, you're paying roughly $180/year. The monthly plan is about $50/month, so the credit basically wipes out 6 months.

If you enroll in the middle of the year, you can start capturing credits now and reset again in January, which is a nice little bonus.

Not worth forcing it if you don't already use ChatGPT for work, but if you're paying for it anyway, this is pretty easy to take advantage of. Just don't forget to enroll first!

Your favorite dining card just got a glow-up. 5x on hotels, free Hertz status, Uber One credit. Same $325 fee. The anniversary era is real 👑

For anyone who holds (or is considering) the $325 dining-focused American Express® Gold Card, some quiet but meaningful updates just dropped.

Breakdown:

The permanent changes:

  • 5x on prepaid hotel bookings via the Amex travel portal (up from 2x). Big jump, but the catch is real. Prepaid portal bookings won't trigger hotel elite benefits or bonus night certs. If you have status, do the math before defaulting to the portal.
  • Complimentary Hertz Five Star status: 25% more points on rentals, space-available upgrades, and counter bypass at select locations. Free add, no fee increase. Note: Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card already has this benefit.
  • New dining credit partners: Buffalo Wild Wings and Wonder. Losing Goldbelly and Wine.com as of July 1. Here is the list of partners staying on the list:
    • The Cheesecake Factory
    • Five Guys
    • Grubhub

Limited-time anniversary stuff (act fast):

  • $96 Uber One statement credit through Oct. 30, 2026
    • Already have this membership? Get in touch with Uber support. Someone on r/amex confirmed that Uber support will refund the prorated difference on your current membership, so you can cancel and re-purchase to trigger the credit. In their case, they had 8 months left and got refunded for all of it.
  • 20% Hilton transfer bonus - this expires May 30, 2026 (heads up, that's soon)
  • Hotel Collection deals, including a free 3rd night at select properties through July 15, 2026

^(Terms apply to American Express benefits and offers. Enrollment may be required for select American Express benefits and offers. Visit americanexpress.com to learn more. Eligibility and Benefit level vary by Card. Terms, Conditions, and Limitations Apply. Please visit americanexpress.com/benefitsguide for more details. Underwritten by Amex Assurance Company.)

What didn't change: $325 annual fee, 4x at restaurants (up to $50,000 per year, then 1x) and U.S. supermarkets (up to $25,000 per year, then 1x), all other existing credits.

One thing worth flagging: the welcome offer spend requirement went up from $6k to $8k in the first 6 months, so new applicants need to plan for roughly $1,334/month to hit it.

Overall, pretty solid refresh for no fee increase. The 5x hotel rate would be a no-brainer if the portal booking caveat didn't exist, but for people without hotel loyalty status, it's basically free money.
