32F homebody looking for like-minded people to talk to and befriend
I’m an introvert whose hobbies all live indoors — great for comfort, terrible for meeting people. All of my friends have moved across the country for work. So, Reddit it is.
I’m looking for like-minded people to talk to, swap interests with, and maybe befriend.
The basics: I’m a 32-year-old straight woman who grew up a tomboy on World of Warcraft and PvP games. Two truths I hold self-evident: the Lord of the Rings trilogy is cinema’s greatest achievement, and Star Trek: The Next Generation is television’s.
Favorite games: Baldur’s Gate 3, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy X, and Expedition 33. I also read constantly — real paper books, ever-multiplying bookshelves — and I’m an ancient astronaut theorist through and through. The pyramids? Tens of thousands of years old, pre-flood, and most likely a powerful generator. If you leaned in instead of rolling your eyes, we’ll get along fine.
I’d also love to attend the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival in late September, if that sounds like your kind of day.
The fine print: if you must box me in, I lean right — but I have never and will never vote. The whole thing’s a dog and pony show, and the only difference between the two parties is how they plan to screw you. The “news” is fear-mongering malarkey; the closest I get is Asmongold and Caleb Hammer’s Financial Audit. Otherwise, I don’t do social media.
I’m sarcastic, blunt, and reportedly tactless — “tact is for people who aren’t witty enough to be sarcastic” (thank you, Karen Walker). I’m not easily offended, and you don’t have to agree with me… So, if you don’t like what you’ve read, just move along. No need for insults or time wasting.
