Made some leather leaf brooches today.
These have magnetic clasps so you can put them on your clothes without ruining the weave of the fabric.

These are some of my leaf masks. These were part of a series of 8 masks called "the watchers" first is 'the twins (past and present), second is "the transcedental" and the third was "the curious". The concept was a bit more elaborate than I will get I to here, but if you want to read more about it, it's on my ws.
These were sculptural pieces presented on stands. Not necessarily worn, but they can easily be adapted to be worn.
I make a lot of forest inspired whimsical items. these are some of the more involved projects. Hope you like them! The bag at the end won first prize at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, which I was pretty stoked about ☺️
I'm not sure if I ever showed this here. As part of an art exhibition I had late last year, I made this mischievous goblin costume. It was to be worn by a model during the show to encourage viewers to play and interact with the works. It was quite well received. The entire hood and leaves (sans the velvet lining and spandex leotard) was made of leather, completely hand stitched.
It's a simple yet effective variation of the traditional saddle stitch, using a third more thread but still retaining its strength.
I've recently finished this first crew of Leaf people. Each one has their own personalities. :)
