W3:D3 The Giant 3.0 - dbl 32kg - 30mins - 58 reps

End of week 3 and its the dreaded single rep set session. Still my least favourite session , just don't get into a good rhythm stopping after each rep.

Though on the bright side its helping dial in my discipline and focus, plus a clean from a dead stop with every rep is good for me. Also I beat last week's D3 effort by a couple reps.

Now heading into the final week

(5 reps from midway point and 5 from the end)

W3:D2 The Giant 3.0 / dbl 32kg / 30mins / 26 sets for total of 78 reps

Long day at work but managed to get through the triples session. Beat last week's triples effort by 6 reps so still seeing progress.

Took the video somewhere within the final 10 minutes

The Giant 3.0 - W3:D1 - dbl 32kg @ 30mins - 33 sets for a total of 66 reps

Start of week 3, with doubles up to begin the week. Managed 6 more reps than D1 in week 1 and 4 more than D1 of week 2, continuing to see progress.

The blister the gym bells caused last week was giving me a bit of grief today. Think I will be doing the rest of my Giant sessions in the garage gym as my Bells don't cause me any issues. (The gym ones seem to sit higher in my hands and rub on my wrist bone)

Been enjoying the progression of 2.0 and 3.0 but also think about what to move onto after wrapping up week 4.

The Giant 3.0- W2:D3 - dbl 32kg- 30min total of 56 reps

Single rep set day, which I saw from last week my total volume drops a little from the double and triple days. Same again, but managed 6 more rep than the previous week's D3.

Was a tough session, been on some long work days so was already feeling a bit tired. But just gotta show up and put in the effort. Felt so much better for it after.

The Giant 3.0 - W2:D2 - dbl 32kg - 30min (24 sets = total of 72 reps)

Sets shown 10, 11, 12, 13 / 22, 23, 24

Managed to get in an extra set over day 2 from last week.

Not liking the feel of the gyms 32s as much as my own in the garage gym. They sit a bit higher in my hand which causes them to rub on my wrist bone. Hasn't been much of a problem in the past but with the volume they are rubbing the skin away now.

Anyway, good session, felt good, maybe got some slight spring from the knees in the later sets but still felt the shoulders doing the hard work.

Finished the session off with 6 x 12 somersault squats and 3 x 8 Bulgarian splitsquats.

Into week 2 with the double 32s on the Giant 3.0. They still feel heavy, specially at the start of the session, but seem to settle in after about 5 mins.

Managed to get out 2 more reps than last week's D1 session so happy with that.

Like always finished off with Bulgarian split squats and somersault squats

Hit the single set session of the Giant. I remember back to doing single rep sets with DFW and found them frustrating. Well found the same here.

(Last 10 sets shown)

Just felt like I couldn't get in any sort of groove with the stop start for every rep.

One positive is you get to hit the cleans more than the other days.

Well at least iv now set my benchmark and see if I can improve over the next 3 week on each of the days.

Interesting to see around a 10 rep increase with each rep added into the set when looking at all 3 days from week 1.

Today I moved into the triple rep sets with the 32s.

This vid was taken somewhere in the final 10 mins of the 30 min session. I noticed a little springiness in the knees every now and again.

For some reason it just feels natural and I need to stay focused on stopping it. Think it is a hangover from the lebe stark/ Levi training I was doing in the previous months.

Finished the session off with 4 sets of Weighted Bulgarian split squats and 4 sets somersault squats
