Any insights into what this is, growing at the edge of new lawn and new bed? Dig up, prune, kill with fire?

We are at 10 day of newly seeded lawn, Boston premier seed, pre seed fertiliser used and seed was topped with compost/topsoil, springing up lovely around the edges and to one side but large area in the center is taking its time to get going? Looks like the area dries out really quickly and is sandy where as the growing areas look to have compost on top (even though was spread evening on top) can see seed on top and was all raked in before top dressing and rolled. Just want to know if this is normal or has I gone wrong. South facing garden, area to the right has shade towards the end of the day.
