Black henbane stunted

Black henbane stunted

I tried to grow black henbane outside this summer, then brought it inside because I was sure it was going to die once the temps dipped here in the Denver metro area. It has been looking stunted like this all summer and I thought it was going to die, but now there is a tiny white bud on it. I did a basic online search: the plant will try to drop seeds and mature quickly if it risks dying. I sprouted it from seed, gave it full light, didn’t over water it, used basic garden soil. Has anyone else seen black henbane behave this way and is there anything I can do to keep it alive through winter. I have grow lights, a southern facing window, and the pot it’s in is 12 inches deep to make space for the deep taproot. How can improve this situation?
