Retinol/retinoid recommendations?
I (30F) have been using retinol/retinoid products for the past two years and I'm looking to find a new product. I started with the Cerave Resurfacing Retinol Serum and later moved onto the elf Youth Boosting Advanced Night Retinoid Serum which I prefer and am currently using. Both have made small differences but I'm looking for a product which is a bit stronger and will help with the fine lines on my forehead. I don't know much about retinols/retinoids so please help a girl out with some recommendations!
I'm happy with the rest of my skincare routine (listed below for info).
Skin type/conditions
Rosacea (type 1), dehydrated, dry cheeks, and oily t-zone and scalp. All of these are well-managed by my skincare routine.
Skincare routine AM
Face wash: Cerave Hydrating Cleanser
Hyaluronic acid: Hada Labo Premium Lotion
Serum: The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
Moisturiser: Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre
Eye cream: Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream
SPF: La Roche-Posay Anthelios Invisible Fluid (30 or 50)
I have 3 nighttime routines I cycle between:
Skincare routine PM (basic)
Same as AM routine but without SPF and I use a different serum: Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Serum Unscented
Skincare routine PM (retinoid)
Same as PM basic but I add a retinoid at the end: elf Youth Boosting Advanced Night Retinoid Serum
Skincare routine PM (BHA)
Wipe face with micellar water (any) + reusable cotton pads
BHA: Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant
Hyaluronic acid: as above
Serum: Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Serum Unscented
Moisturiser: as above
Eye cream: as above
