Box truck or semi

So I was looking at the load boards, and I want to stay local or regional, on truck stop there ain’t Jack shi for box truck loads, it’s all 48,000 pound 53’ and they look pretty abundant even locally and pay like $500, unless I’m looking at something wrong but I do have my class A so maybe semi is the move instead

New authority

Hi guys just wanted to ask about how it is starting up right now. I got my dot and box 3 done I just need the truck and insurance, anyone in the same boat or have any input I would appreciate it. Is it worth is and could I stay regional and make money? I don’t really want to do otr. Is it better just to get a contract rather than load boards?
