Hi everyone,
I'm an 18 year old Grade 12 student from Nepal hoping to do engineering.
My family is in financially rough shape right now and both of my parents are also ill. So we currently can't afford it and I'm trying to find a way to get access to one for my studies. I need a laptop to do lab tasks and projects given by my schools computer lab and also for programming, CAD, engineering design, and building a portfolio for university applications. I am planning on doing SAT and apply to international universities which provides me full scholarship. So i would be a great help.
I'm not looking for a new or powerful laptop. An older laptop or refurbished one will also be more than enough to get me started.
If anyone has a used laptop they're no longer using and would consider donating it to a student, I'd be extremely grateful. I'm also happy to consider heavily discounted used machine.
I'm happy to provide reasonable proof of my student status and situation privately.
If you can't help directly but know of a legitimate organization that provides laptops to students in Nepal, I'd really appreciate the information.
