I’m considering buying a new monitor because the input lag feels really bad in NHL 26. It feels almost impossible to do dekes or fast movements on time because I constantly have to predict everything in advance. I already have multiple monitors with “1ms” response time, but that doesn’t seem to help in NHL since it’s not a high frame rate game and my monitors are mainly designed for high refresh rates. Does upgrading my monitor significantly reduce input lag? I usually get around 20–40 ms ping in HUT and I use a wired USB controller.
