How do I clear up disk space from old steam games?
HI All
Computer illiterate here, so forgive what is likely a stupid question but..
- I have about 600 GB on a drive taken up by the Steam directory. I ran Wiztree after reading another thread and there's like 200+ GB for BG3, 80+ for Lost Ark (don't remember ever playing) similar for Total War stuff, etc
But none of the games show in my Apps screen (I think I already deleted them) and going into steam it's telling me I need to install them.
So I'm guessing they're all leftover files or something, but ... can I just go into the directory and delete them or is there a process to do it? I would just go and delete them, but I've been told over (many) years that I shouldn't do that for stuff like games because it can mess stuff up.
Yes I'm oblivious, but any suggestions you have would be appreciated. (LOL On how to delete the files, suggestions about "learn how to use a computer" are already implied.. )
Thanks!
