manga job hunter garou reveal isn't exciting at all

a short comparison of the webcomic/manga.

In webcomic, the last we see of Garou in the MA arc is when Saitama and the kid both give him a reason to live, and so he runs off at hyper-speed, leaving all the S-class heroes in the dust. We don't really know for sure what he will do. It's just left up to our imagination. We just know he's done with his villainous deeds.

When we see him again, he isn't even fully revealed, his face is obscured by his cap. It's mysterious, his apperance gives no confirmation that it would be him. We know better because of the dialogue and his superhuman displays of strength.

For a while, people were curious what happened to Garou after his defeat and this was a very exciting and fascinating way to showcase what he's been up to.

In manga, we know Silverfang is rehabilitating Garou, so the mystery of "what happened to Garou?" is gone. We're told he has a part time job and we constantly are being shown information that the Neo Heroes are hunting Garou (this doesn't make sense now that he's been pardoned).

By the time we see him in uniform he's already been talked about, hinted at, and introduced so many times he's just having a normal conversation instead of having a cool reveal.

Not to mention how the wholesome tone has been turned to 11 and we might get a metal bat x garou teamup 2.0

When it comes to the track, I believe that how effective a car's traction is just as important as its low-high end acceleration.

I'd break down the track into five parts in this order: 1st tunnel, 2nd tunnel, 1st curve, strip, 2nd curve.

With the most difficult part of the track being the 2nd tunnel, as it requires high level drifting skill to pass through it without crashing and maintaining speed.

I tried all the common supercars vehicles I own to see which performs the best. I don't think I'm the best driver at all and could've gotten much faster times with a lot of these cars, but I can point out which cars can do a lot better and which cars have already hit their limit.

S+ Tier:

Molten M12 (1:20.664) takes the cake, having been able to get almost sub 1:20 thanks to its 1.68 handling and 450 traction, allowing it to easily pass through the 2nd tunnel. It also has insane high end acceleration, getting up to 250 mph easily on both the strip and 1st tunnel.

(Edit: someone in replies got sub 1:17 with molten so goes to show how good it is)

Beignet/Orion(1:22.729) have similar stats to molten but I believe they lack molten's high end acceleration but maybe I could get sub 1:20 with these under perfect conditions.

Volt Bike (1:22.845) a good vehicle but lower potential than the other S+ tier cars. It doesn't have high end acceleration and struggles to maintain speed at harsh curvevs. Otherwise it's really easy to use so I think I did the best I could with this, it'll likely be forever stuck at sub 1:23 or sub 1:22.

(Edit: someone in replies got sub 1:20 with volt which was a surprise to me)

S Tier:

Roadster (1:24.896) is a car with great handling and acceleration, and can handle turns better than volt bike but it's worse top speed makes it fall behind on the strip and the 1st tunnel. Remember that the molten being able to gain 250 mph on these parts allows it to get such a ridiculously good time.

Power-1/Successor-1(1:24.067): These cars are basically the same, they feature 1.54 handling and great traction, but I believe the worse handling and high end acceleration doesn't allow them to outperform the likes of molten/beignet/orion. Probably has more potential than roadster but requires more skill to use...

A Tier:

Carbonara (1:26.013): This car has similar handling/traction stats to p1 and successor but falls short likely because of worse launch. But I think it can do way better.

Javelin/Fatalita (1:25.896): Javelin is the car I actually main, and so have the most experience with. (Fatalita is a jav clone so I'm lumping these together). I think I can make this car finish the track faster but it's very hard. The stats are all good except for traction which means it struggles to maintain its speed coming out of the 2nd tunnel. But I guess with enough drifting skill I could possibly achieve sub 1:25

B Tier:

All the cars in this tier are here for the same reason (except snake). Despite some of these cars having excellent acceleration and top speeds, they have 1.4 handling which is awful for maintaining speed on both the curves and exiting the 2nd tunnel.

1.68 handling is amazing for the racetrack, and 1.54 is acceptable, but 1.4 is just too horrendous.

I'm not going to really bother talking too much about each of them. Most of the time these cars achieve sub 1:28 at best.

Manta (1:27.479)

Aperture (1:27.796)

Torpedo (1:28.088)

Eclare (1:29.629)

Snake (1:27.196) the only car here that has good handling/traction, has no high end acceleration, it has the same problem as roadster and volt which is having a ceiling that is easily reached.

Anyways if you guys have beaten any of my times then please lemme know cause there's definitely better racers out there and there maybe better cars that I havent used yet.
