Higher end harmonica recommendations?

I would like to test out higher end harmonicas. I currently own Seydel Session Steels, Hohner Special 20, Hohner Golden Melody, Hohner Rocket, Lee Oscar Major Diatonics.

I would like to consider purchasing a higher end, perhaps $70 - $200 diatonic harmonica. I would love a harmonica with a warm mellow tone.

Need advice on hitting the 3-draw whole-step bend (E note) cleanly on a G diatonic.

I play the diatonic harmonica and I'm currently working on my melodies. I am using a G harp and trying to hit the whole-step bend on hole 3 draw (the E note).

Whenever I attempt this bend, it sounds very odd because I end up sliding through the natural note (F#) and the half-step bend (F) before finally landing on the E.

My questions for the community:

  1. Is it normal to always slide through those upper notes, or should I be able to hit the E directly?
  2. What specific tongue and embouchure techniques do you use to strike that 2-step bend cleanly and instantly without scooping?

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

2nd chance to sell individual stocks and move to index funds?

About 3-5 years ago I started investing in an individual brokerage account. I picked individual stocks like Lucid, Virgin Galactic, FuboTV, Pinterest, SoFi, NVIDIA, Micron, and others. For most of those years I was deep in the red, with some positions down 60-90%.

I also ran a wheel strategy on a separate options account. It worked for about a year, then blew up and I was down 50-60% on that account too.

NVIDIA and Micron exploded and pulled both accounts into the green. I'm actually sitting on profits.

Here's my dilemma:. I no longer want to track individual stocks or run options strategies. I want to sell everything, take the tax hit, and move it all into index funds.

Is this the right move? Has anyone made this transition? The main thing holding me back is Obviously hesitation and the thought that the account might grow higher if I hold longer. Or if some of those stocks end up bouncing back somehow. But then again, I was sitting on profits on some of those stocks a couple of years ago and I did not sell and they ended up going back down.

Anyone use lip balm when playing the harmonica?

I thought about using lip balm because I have a harmonica that doesn't slide as nice as some others even if I lick my lips and all that. Does Bip Palm help slide?

Do you water rinse your chromatic harmonica with valves?

Just saw a guy on YouTube do this. I thought that was not recommended when you have valves

Chromatics with valves require warming?

This is a shocker for someone coming from diatonic. What happens if I don't warm it up? What if you warm it then stop playing for 30 minutes? Warm up again?

Anybody use this harmonica model? I am drawn to it since it gives you a lower octave that can be played without bending. Is it great for melodies?
