i upload all of my flacs to ibroadcast and then stream from my phone as a way to get away from spotify until my DAP comes, but i saw that all my tracks are mp3s when they are obviously FLAC since that is what i uploaded and on the website it recognizes them as flac too. why are they only streaming as mp3?
EDIT: i didnt know there was a premium option, so the freemium version defaults to 128kps MP3
Yesterday I found a couple cds by the band for cheap cheap cheap and they have been on my radar for a while because of the show The OC so i took the chance and bought 4 albums for like $10 and as I am taking it out to scan in iTunes I notice the cd has no words on it. Now obviously it doesn't have to but all the other ones have so it made me feel a little weird so I went to Discogs and wouldn't you know, the one on there has the title (picture 1). Also on the back is the URL cdforge.com which is no longer active and the only other place I found it relating to music is on the back of an Elliott Smith cd on reddit where someone was questioning it's authenticity (coincidence ?). The Discogs listing has a picture of the back too and mine looks nothing like it except it is extremely similar to the other user's Elliott Smith CD. I'm gonna link that because they had a better picture of the back but this feels really fishy and I would like to know for sure if I got a bootleg.
