This is why we do it

I've owned this 1973 Toyota Corona Mark II for 20 years, sat more than ran, but never lost sight of the vision and end goal; driving adventures! Just got it back together in time for a camping trip with my cousin ( '68 Cougar) Car handled over 420 miles through traffic, hot California valley weather, steep climbs, rough roads and the stunning Highway 49 up into the Tahoe National Forest. Had to make a couple emergency roadside repairs, but that's just part of the adventure.

Worst dash I've ever seen

What would you do? Can you even glue a dash cap on this? Not even sure where to start. The Polyvance plastic welding is no match for this mess.

Running again at last!

1973 Corona Mark II. Blew up the W58 transmission 2 years ago. The gearboxes are getting expensive so the car kinda just sat while I worked on my wife's Thunderbird and my Supra. Hatched a plan to pull the Supra box and give it to the Corona, while I prep for a 1UZ with a W59 in the Supra. Sure did miss the Corona. 7MGTE swap with Megasquirt II and a 57trim turbo.
