I am 25 weeks pregnant. Whenever I visit my gynecologist’s office, my blood pressure is usually around 140/90. I feel very anxious and scared during the appointment. After about 15 minutes, it usually drops to around 130/80.
At home, my blood pressure is consistently normal, usually around 125/75 or 123/78.
My doctor wants me to wear a 24-hour blood pressure monitor. She also prescribed nifedipine, but it makes me feel very sick and gives me headaches.
I also had a preeclampsia screening test, and the results were normal.
Does anyone have any thoughts or similar experiences?
