The NSE Monstera Albo is a distinct lineage of Monstera deliciosa defined by a rare double mutation—combining classic white albo variegation with a contorted, irregular growth pattern. Unlike standard albos, this line consistently produces leaves with twisting structure, asymmetry, and heavy sectoral variegation, giving it a more aggressive and sculptural appearance. The result is a plant that stands out immediately from typical variegated Monstera, both in form and expression.

This lineage is closely associated with NSE Tropicals, where it was preserved and distributed, becoming one of the more recognized named clones in the collector market. While formal documentation on its origin is limited, it is widely regarded as an older cultivated line, valued for its consistent traits and identifiable growth pattern. Among serious collectors, the NSE Albo is not just another variegated Monstera—it’s a specific, trackable lineage with unique genetic expression.
