Context: This is a literary-history riff based on:

1. the fact that Stendahl was famously a great fan of Napoleon’s energy and charisma
2. in a recent interview on french tv Jordan Bardella praised Nicolas Sarkozy’s energy, then moments later used almost the same line for Donald Trump: “Où trouve-t-il toute cette énergie ?”

I thought it was amusing to put the words in Stendahl’s mouth, but I am not comparing the two men’s literary ability!
