How do you figure out you want to be a teacher? I love explaining things to people and I’m generally the person most of my classmates come to if they need help in science or math, but I know there’s more to being a teacher than just answering questions. So, how do I figure out I’d be good at actually being a teacher? Or how did you figure out it was the right profession for you?
Hi! I need help!! I’m interested in applying to bioengineering at McGill next year, but I’m not sure if I can get my R score up to what I want it to be by next semester. I feel like I can by my fourth semester, but uni admission decisions will be out before then.
Does anybody have any general advice for doing better in my classes? I feel like I’m good in my math/science classes, but I always struggle more with general education courses like English and French. If I’m applying to engineering, does McGill care more about my science/ math R score than my overall R score or are they weighted the same?
Did anybody get accepted into bioengineering at McGill and if so, what R score did you have and how late did McGill tell you whether you were accepted or not? Also what did you apply to as your backup if you did apply to one?
Does anybody know where I can find average R-score admission data for McGill? I can only manage to find minimums on their school website or averages for medicine/ law, but not other programs such as engineering. Is there any data available for that?
I know we get our our R scores mid-June, but is it exactly mid June like the 15th or is it later like the 20th or so from experience?
