First time hearing lord Huron/My First concert…
Curious when everyone’s first time hearing Lord Huron was? My husband and I heard Ends of the Earth in the Shameless season 3 finale in 2013. We didn’t know who Lord Huron was at the time and knew we loved it right away.
Thursday was our first time seeing them live. I wanted to see them in New Haven in 2022 but I had just had a baby and had no sitter. Tried again in 2024 in Brooklyn and had work conflicts. Anyway when I saw they were coming back to New Haven this year I was so excited. I purposefully didn’t watch any live concert videos or look at setlist etc beforehand because I’m weird about concerts and really prefer not seeing anything before. Anyway… I was enamored the whole show. It was exactly what I dreamed it would be like (actually probably better) although I had zero doubts. It was magical, immersive and beautiful. I will never miss another tour no matter what! 🖤
